David and Dad Appear on Focus on the Family

This afternoon, David and I had the opportunity to appear on Your Family Live, a production of Focus on the Family. We were part of a special Father’s Day Weekend program. The first half of the program highlighted issues related to pain people deal with in father-child relationships. Near the end of the program, the host Yvette Maher interviewed us briefly as an example of a Dad who is trying to do things the right … Read entire article »

Joy Comes In The Morning

As many of you know, the tornado that just recently ravaged the southeast caused a lot of confusion and heartbreak. It took lives, destroyed houses, and gave people a different take on life. So he called his friend Donnie Stewart. Donnie is a long-time friend of ours, and even though it was a big commitment, he agreed to come and finish off my journey. Okay, you might say, so he spent a couple … Read entire article »

Week 51: Lord Of The Ring

Well, over the course of my journey, I’ve met with a whole lot of men I know and see every now and then, but there has been one main guy in particular whom I see every week and haven’t met with yet. That man is my youth pastor. But today, I finally got to see the inner workings of one of the more crazy jobs in this universe, the job of Jared Waldrop, youth pastor. … Read entire article »
